Frontier Days Festival & Street Dance
A town tradition, this lively festival celebrates the pioneering spirit of Van Horn. With live music, dancing, food vendors, and family-friendly activities, Frontier Days is a highlight of the year. The Main Street Dance brings the entire town together for a night of fun under the stars.

Hottest Independence Day Celebration
Van Horn knows how to celebrate the 4th of July with a bang! Known as the "Hottest Independence Day Celebration," this event includes a fireworks display, food vendors, games, and live entertainment, making it the perfect way to celebrate America’s birthday in the heat of the Texas summer.

Kermes Celebration & Dance
The annual Kermes is a community-wide celebration organized by Our Lady of Fatima Church. With food, music, dancing, and games, this event brings together the local community for a day of fun and faith.

NEW! Feria Van Horn

Feria Van Horn is one of the newest and most exciting additions to the town’s annual events calendar. This multi-day festival offers a thrilling combination of carnival rides, rodeo events, live music, and local vendors, making it a can’t-miss event for both residents and visitors. Feria Van Horn brings the community together to celebrate the unique culture and vibrant spirit of West Texas.
Garry Moore’s Carnival:
Get ready for a fun-filled experience at Garry Moore’s Carnival, featuring a variety of thrilling rides and classic carnival games. Perfect for all ages, this carnival runs daily from 3 PM to 11 PM, giving families plenty of time to enjoy the rides, indulge in carnival snacks, and experience the excitement. Wristbands are available for unlimited access to the rides.
Red Dirt Rumble Rodeo:
The heart of Texas culture is on full display at the Red Dirt Rumble Rodeo. On Friday night, the action kicks off with bull riding and saddle bronc events, while Saturday brings team roping, the goat and lamb show, and more cowboy thrills. Starting at 6 PM on Friday and 9 AM on Saturday, this rodeo showcases the best of Western traditions and the raw excitement of rodeo competitions.
Live Music Festival:
Feria Van Horn also features an impressive lineup of live music performances, celebrating the diverse sounds of West Texas. From country music to Tejano hits, the music festival offers something for everyone. Headlining acts like Jon Wolfe, Siggno, and Nathan Acosta take the stage alongside local talents, bringing a weekend of high-energy performances. With free shows and ticketed performances, the live music at Feria Van Horn promises to be a memorable experience
